we are a grammar company; we are not going to spam you.

What do we use your information for?

Your e-mail address

We store your e-mail address in our system when you (1) sign up for a free trial, (2) sign up for our newsletter, (3) send us a message through the contact form on the website, (4) write us an e-mail, and (5) when you make a purchase.

During some of these processes you will be asked if you would like to receive news from Grammatica. You will only receive news from us if you have agreed to this. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any e-mail from us.

If you have previously made a purchase on our website, you will also receive an e-mail in case of major updates to Grammatica.

We do not share your e-mail address with any third party, including advertising partners.

Your name & address

When you sign up for a paid subscription we ask for your name and address. We are required to present this information to the Danish tax office upon request. For EU customers, VAT rates depend on your country of residence.

We do not share your name and address with any third party, including advertising partners.

Your credit card details

We do not store credit card information. In fact, our system does not even see your credit card details when you make a purchase. This information is submitted directly to our payment provider, ePay (PCI level 1 certified).

Your credit card information is also not stored in ePay's systems, and we do not automatically renew your subscription. If in the future we make it possible to automatically renew your subscription, this will be optional, and clearly stated during the purchase process.

Documents you create with the online version of Grammatica

The documents you create with the online version of Grammatica are stored in our system. Technically, this means that your documents are stored on servers in one or more of Microsoft's data centers - "in the cloud". As long as you do not share your password with anyone, your documents are safe, and only you have access to them.

Your documents are encrypted before they are stored. We do not share your documents with any third party.

Your password

Your password is stored in our database in an encrypted form. Even if a hacker should gain access to the database, it will not be possible to read your password. This also means that if you forget it, we can only provide you with a link to create a new password; we are not able to see your password in our system.
