Terms of Use

By accessing, using or downloading any part of the System, you agree to the terms and conditions described in this Agreement. If you do not accept and agree to all the terms in this Agreement, you must immediately cease all further use of the System.

In this document,

  • Grammatica means the company Grammatica ApS, a limited liability company established in and existing under the laws of Denmark. Company details about Grammatica can be found at www.grammatica.eu.
  • The System means the applications and resources that can be accessed or downloaded through www.grammatica.eu, online.grammatica.eu, or any other internet domain or server belonging to Grammatica.
  • The User means you and/or any person, legal entity, or computer program accessing, connecting to, interacting with, or using the System in any manner.
  • The Agreement - the agreement between the User (you) and Grammatica - means this document.

Trial period and subscriptions

  1. Grammatica is free to try for 7 days.
  2. If the User wishes to continue using the System after the trial period, a subscription must be purchased through www.grammatica.eu.
  3. A subscription allows the User to use the System for the period of time subscribed for, provided that the terms and conditions of this Agreement are met.
  4. A subscription can be extended or renewed at any time before or after it expires.
  5. Subscriptions are personal: Users are not permitted to transfer or sell their subscription to another person or legal entity.
  6. A subscription grants the User access to the current major version of one or more parts of the System. Grammatica will at its sole discretion decide when a version of the System, or a part of it, will be considered a new major release.
  7. Prices for subscriptions may change without prior notice.


The following actions are considered to be abuse of the System and may result in the Users subscription or free trial account being suspended and/or deleted. Unless Grammatica has no doubt that an action is intentional and clearly is abuse, Grammatica will send the User a warning by e-mail before suspending and/or deleting the User's account. In case of abuse, Grammatica does not issue refunds of services already paid to Grammatica. Any debt to Grammatica for services rendered must still be paid by the User. Grammatica will at its sole discretion decide which actions and when such an action fall under the term "abuse".

  1. Users are not allowed to systematically extract data from the System.
  2. Users are not allowed to access the System in any other way than through a publicly available web browser, or through applications that are developed by Grammatica.
  3. Users are not allowed to share, transfer or sell their subscription or login details with/to other individuals or legal entities.
  4. Users are not allowed to repeatedly sign up for free trials. Grammatica provides only a single free trial period for each User.
  5. Users are not allowed to use Grammatica for any other purposes than learning or teaching languages.
  6. Users are not allowed to reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to reveal the inner workings or modify the functionality of the System.


Grammatica does not warrant that the System operates on the device the User intends the System to be used on and the User shall be solely responsible for obtaining a device compatible with the System. Grammatica is providing the System to the User on an 'as-is' basis without warranty of any kind. Grammatica does not and cannot warrant the performance or results the User may obtain using the System, or that the System operates error free.

Return policy

Grammatica does not offer refunds to Users who have acquired a subscription or any other paid service from Grammatica. Grammatica offers a free trial period of some or all paid parts of the System. This allows all prospective buyers to evaluate the System in order to ensure that it meets their needs before deciding to make a purchase.


Copyright and other intellectual, industrial and/or proprietary rights to the System, to any content created with or stored in the System, and to any whole or partial copies of the System that the User downloads or makes are owned by Grammatica.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Grammatica is not liable to the User or to any third party for any damages, either direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or otherwise – including in each case, but not limited to damages arising from inability to use the System or access data, loss of data, loss of business, loss of profits, business interruptions or the like – arising out of the use or inability to use the System even if Grammatica has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Term and Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. Without prejudice to any other rights, Grammatica may immediately terminate this Agreement if the User fail to comply with any of the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement. In such event the User must cease all use of the System and delete all copies of the System or parts thereof that are in the User's possession.

Applicable Law

This Agreement is governed by Danish law or at Grammatica's sole discretion the law of any court which may have jurisdiction. Subscriptions for the System shall not be governed by the UN Convention on contracts for the international sale of goods. The User agrees that Grammatica, at its sole discretion, may elect to bring legal action regarding any dispute arising from or in connection with this Agreement before the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark, or in any court in any country which may have jurisdiction and the User herewith irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts chosen by Grammatica.
